Add Energy wins 3 year Drilling Project Management contract with Woodside in Myanmar
07 Dec 2016
Add Energy's Well Management division has secured a 3 year project with Woodside covering Drilling Project Management Services for Myanmar drilling operations. Support services are focused on offshore supervisory personnel who will assist in operations planning and equipment preparation prior to supervising operations offshore Myanmar. The project secures work for an initial team of 8 personnel for the first campaign in 2017, including offshore drilling fluid advisors, well testing and well service supervisors. Additional engineering support will be provided from Perth during the planning phase of the project.
The first campaign is due to commence in February 2017 and will cover 4 firm wells plus 2 contingency wells. The project will allow Woodside to gain expert support and supervisory services for offshore operations which will not only enhance the management of their operations but also supplement their internal resources – a strategic partnership solution commonly embraced by operators globally.
