We develop detailed programs and procedures for execution of operations: rig move; drilling; casing running; cementing; logging; well testing; completion; and plug and abandonment.
We facilitate and conduct risk and HAZOP assessment of design and planned operations together with the service providers and client’s representatives, and manage these throughout execution.
We author the applications for approval to conduct drilling and well operations from the authorities, monitor compliance and report when required.
We assist the client in obtaining good contracts and efficient procurement to ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery and quality of services during execution.
We have experience from conducting logistical operations in remote locations. Efficient coordination of logistics saves costs and reduces environmental impact and risks.
We compose the budgets and AFE cost estimates for the specified activity based on our cost database, vendor proposals and client’s contracts. Invoices are controlled and disputed if in error.
We source and train an emergency response team in how to react to a range of incidents and accidents.
We supply our clients with our technical experts to work as integrated members of our client’s team on an ad-hoc basis.

What We Did
Our well engineering team provided technical and procurement support during the initial planning phase of the first operated offshore exploration well in Australia, Sea Lion-1 well in VIC/P57.
Add Energy also mobilized a team to handle responsibilities such as; final preparation of programs and procedures; contracts and logistics management; permitting and interaction with the authorities and regulators; operational management of the drilling operations conducted with Seadrill’s West Telesto- jack-up; and final close-out of the drilling campaign.

As part of Woodside Energy’s field development plans, Add Energy supported Woodside’s Drilling and Completion team with the well engineering services for the successful delivery of a new subsea big bore gas well.

In certain regions of the world, and for some operators, regulations and internal procedures mandate that fields cannot be developed unless the operator can demonstrate that the well can be intercepted and controlled via a single relief well drilling operation, as opposed to multiple relief wells, which is usually the norm.
