Project goal
Co-development of a Co2 Capture and Storage (CCS) Hub
Client:
Transborders Energy
Asset:
Offshore Co2 Capture and Storage Hub (deepC Store) in Australia
The initiative
The goals of the deepC Store Project align with the Australian government’s Low Emissions Technology Statement, with carbon capture and storage being identified as one of the five priority technologies and economic stretch goals to reduce emissions from energy, transport, agriculture, and heavy industry.

Why we were contracted
To develop this CCS hub, Transborders Energy partnered with Add Energy and six industry and research leaders to share information and knowledge in relation to the scoping and seeking funding for a concept study for evaluating the technical, commercial, and economics for developing the Project.
Add Energy was selected to be part of this venture due to our Drilling and Well Engineering subject matter expertise and experience.
Our role
Add Energy’s engineering experts will be solely responsible for providing key services to help commercialize this concept.
Our involvement will include the following tasks in relation to the development of the Co2 injection wells for the deepC Store project:
